• Damn straight: “All in all, sounds like a pretty reasonable plan, given that we’re talking about the consistently funniest site on the whole wide internet.” Look, I like free. And I’m glad The A.V. Club will remain free. But I think we’re going to end up seeing a lot more of these all over the Internet, and that’s OK. Sometimes, and this seems to have been forgotten, the best things in life aren’t free, whether we’re talking about hilarious satire or government services. (Not to get political but, you know, the roads don’t pave themselves.) But sometimes they’re worth paying the right price to keep them going. Or, here’s another way of putting it.
